HIGH VELOCITY CORD AND WIRE THERMAL SPRAY SYSTEM
Two System Capability ‘‘Powders and Wires II for the Price of One The ‘MaxJet//’metallizing system provides highly efficient thermal spraying of MaxJet cords and wires. The quality of the MaxJet II wire and cord coatings are comparable to that of current plasma powder and electric wire arc thermal spray systems. ‘MaxJet’ Cords are specially developed for the MaxJet II equipment. They consist of various types of powder metals mixed with an organic binder. This birder does not predicate onto the substrate during spraying, since it burns fully at 4000 C. The MaxJet II system requires only a 110 volt power supply and a 35 cfm air compressor. MaxJet technology provides excellent melting at the cord and high precipitation and fusion of the particles with the substrate and between themselves, This results in row porosity and high density coatings via High Velocity Powder Cord thermal spraying.

The MaxJet system also sprays 1/16”, 1/8" & 3/16" size 99.9% Zinc and 85%Zn 15%Al alloy wires. Pure Zinc wire is sprayed on concrete for cathodic protection of steel reinforcing bars and simple barrier protection.

Zn/Al alloy wire is sprayed on concrete, ductile iron and/or steel to provide protection against both atmospheric and underground sodium chloride, sulfur dioxide and marine environments. One coat (no primer coat and no drying/curing time needed) has an expected life of 15 to 25+ years, with no or little maintenance.
