style sprockets are available in the
following materials
Cast
Nylon
Sprockets
are integrally cast, with the chain saver
side-bars and sprocket plate in one piece.
Cast Nylon has a high degree of hardness
and is ideal for extremely demanding
applications.
UHMW
Sprockets
are fabricated with hubs and rims
fabricated to form the sprocket. UHMW has
an extremely high wear resistance. The
standard abrasion sand wheel test (ASTM G
65) shows UIHMW-PE outperforming all other
non-metallic materials and even
AR 400 steel. Click on the links to

All 720 collector chain non-metallic
sprockets are available with or without
chain saver rims (flanges as shown on the
sprocket to the right) which allows the
rims to engage the curved sidebars of the
chain, dissipating the load onto the
rims.
